Blue Ox Patriot Proportional Braking System Installation - 1994 Geo Tracker- Video
Today on this 1994 Geo Tracker we're going to review and install the Blue Ox Patriot radio frequency portable braking system, Part Number: BRK2012. Now we'll go ahead and work with the part that goes into the RV. All this does is plugs into the 12 Volt outlet in the RV, and you can mount this in the RV anywhere you like, or you can use some hook and loop fasteners that comes with the kit. Since we don't have a RV with us, we can still test it out with our vehicle. We'll use the outlet right here to get power. With this we can control our settings. If you notice, if I hold this display to this display I can control the force or the gain, how hard the brakes work, and on the bottom here if for whatever reason you need to, you can activate the brakes by themselves on a tow vehicle by pushing this lever. When this is activated and working, this will show your display up here as well. This is great for applications where you have multiple vehicles, and you don't want to put a braking system in each one of them, or you're not planning to keep the vehicles for very long, such as this case. more
